The hotel is set amongst the farmland of British Colombia in an area which is excellent for fishing a skiing. The building is located at the corner of Columbia Street and Notre Dame. It offers guests the perfect stop-over between Banff, Calgary, Jasper and Edmonton towards Vancouver. Roughly a 5-minute drive from the hotel is the town centre of Kamloops. It is also conveniently close to the Sahali shopping centre and the local Wal Mart. This establishment is situated near to a bus station and the Aberdeen Mall shopping centre. A wide range of restaurants is to be found a few minutes' walk away.

Dog friendly but not worth it
We stayed here because we brought our dog. It was not worth it. We had a room on the hwy side so there was a great deal of hwy noise which we expected. What we didn’t expect was paper thin walls and someone talking on their phone at 345 am at full volume then doors slamming consistently between 4 and 5am of people coming and going. We stayed at Accent Inns Kamloops from April 23–26 for a lacrosse tournament and booked multiple rooms for our team. Wonderful 1-night stay
The hotel is just a couple of seconds off the highway, which is really comfortable. And don't you worry about noise in your rooms, there's insane noise cancelation. The area is beautiful, honestly, we were impressed by Kamloops even though we only stayed for the night. Rooms were super clean, new, and well-maintained, plus they have the coolest led lights for extra ambient lighting. They really do 'give a duck'. Best service, nicest room and all-round fantastic experience.
We stayed in this hotel back in 2019 and were so impressed, we stopped here again (Aug. 2/25). The front desk could not have been friendlier, and so accommodating for a last minute booking. I still have my duck from my last visit, and now 'Lucky Ducky' has a new friend, "Kamloops Katie".
