I travel to Hinton often for work and have stayed at many of the hotels in town. This property used to be a dated Quality Inn, but it’s been completely transformed into the Velora, and what a difference! The full renovation was much needed, and the result is incredible. Gem found on short notice
We are from the States and decided a few days ago to do the icefields parkway. Booked at this hotel 3 days ago. Rates were similar at other hotels but the photos were inviting.The check in staff and restaurant next door were friendly, the towels were VERY soft, bed very comfortable. We stayed at Quality Inn and had a very good experience the rooms were very clean and spacious. The front desk staff Dipanshu was helpful and very polite.Will surely recommend the place for good quality and service and shall come back again. Run down hotel but good price!
This hotel is run down and beat up! Would make a world of difference if they did some cosmetic work to some of the rooms. If you are looking for a place to crash for the night then it’s good for the price. We had a 2 queen room that cost $87 per night and were just staying over night on our way to Jasper. We stayed the night of august 8 coming from calgary.But first i booked the hotel on the 31st of july around 4:52pm and i phoned the front desk to book me 2 rooms seens she said thats ok theres 2 rooms for a double queen size bed and she just said she will be reserving it for me.
