Location

This hotel is built around Kempenfelt Bay, located on Lake Simcoe in the heart of the Georgian Lakelands. It is located approximately 90 km north of Toronto via Highway 400, a six-lane, controlled-access highway that runs directly through the city of Barrie, placing it on Toronto's doorstep. Barrie has something to suit all tastes, including a large selection of eclectic dining establishments and ethnic restaurants featuring culinary creations from around the world. The nearest shops are around 2 minutes’ drive away. Nearby places of interest include Barrie Molson Centre (around 5 minutes’ drive), Georgian College and MacLaren Art Centre (each around 20 minutes’ drive) and Simcoe County Museum (around 25 minutes’ drive away).

Facility

The hotel has 28 junior suites, 9 suites, 4 single rooms and 41 double rooms, which are located on 4 storeys and are reachable by lift. The reception desk is open round the clock.     They room was never cleaned. Left chicken bones on furniture, sticky floors and sticky tables. Shower floor was disgusting.
