Disastrous stay!
Disastrous stay! Hotel booked event taking up all rooms except ours. We weren’t able to use the pool due to the event. Rats scurried past us in the entry. Mary Beach Hotel August 2023
We stayed 3 nights with kids. All were correct. The rooms were nice with balcony and swing. Food was correct. It was close to the beach, just crossed the road and you were on the beach. I liked the swimming pool which was enough long for swimming (around 20 meters). The other hotels around had small swimming pool. Beach was almost clean.We stayed 3 nights with kids. Family last minute trip went bad due to the Hotel does not have insurance
Safety: I must warn all guests that this hotel has changed hands several times and we found it hard to find out who is the real owner is, as of today we still dont know as we dont get a straight answer: Major issue they do not hold public liability Insurance. The Stairs are not none slip so when there is water left on the stairs this is a major hazard. A new property with wonderful staff
A new hotel on the foreshore of Sihanoukville, the step off point to the Cambodian Islands. The hotel is lovely and the biggest comfortable bed we have ever seen. There is a restaurant on site which is good as one would have to catch a Tuk Tuk to other eateries.This area is worth visited just to see the total impact the Chinese are have in this area. A nightmare
Arrived at Mary Beach Hotel,was like a horror movie, the place has been turned to rumble, not so much hotel but the area, first could not find booking, should of left then, but had been a 5 hour journey, finally got to our rooms, just so basic, uncomfortable bed, damp walls gaps in doors, no lamps. Toilet rolls non existent, Bad night's sleep.
