  Decent location, expected quality for the money (AVOID THE HOT DOGS)

  I’ll start off by saying you get what you pay for. The rooms are pretty basic. We had 4 rooms among friends, we did ask for adjoining/rooms that were close together but were ignored although multiple emails were sent well in advance and of course on the day they were booked up which is fair enough. 1 room had a fridge and working air conditioning as advertised. The others were all missing something. 1 had no fridge, the other no air conditioning and the last had a strange smell coming from the air conditioning that was very unpleasant. There were a few redeeming features, the staff were pleasant and although there was a language barrier, which was expected, they were very polite and prompt. I unfortunately came down with food poisoning which knocked me out for 4 days, this was due to a hot dog from the hotel snack bar. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Although at least this made the holiday cheaper. The pool is excellent and probably the best part about our stay! I would recommend this hotel but please pay attention to the above notes. Finally if you are travelling from the UK please expect a language barrier as the hotel is catered to Eastern European tastes but if like me you are unbothered by this it is possible to have a decent stay!

  Absolutely horrible experience!!!

  The hotel is absolutely horrible! Don’t even dare to go there! The room looks completely different to what they are offering online! The full reception team are extremely rude and disrespectful. Talking in their language to us. One of the worker tired to hit me with the book and told us to shut our mouth only because we asked for the number to the manager because our room had issues such as leaking, broken beds… I would never ever come to this hotel again! The manager was absolutely rude as well and not helpful at all!!!Avoid this place !!!!

  We booked this hotel because it looked like a good option for comparable small price. And to be honest, this hotel had everything we needed for our amazing family holidays in Bulgaria.To begin with, hotel and rooms are very clean. Somedays they cleaned our rooms even two times per day. Rooms were big and with a great view to the pool area.Regarding pool area – it is not the biggest one, but quite nice with two slides. Of course you need to reserve sunbeds in the morning, but it is what we expected from this price range hotel. Music by the pool was not too loud and quite good. We liked it.Meals in the main restaurant – nothing too fancy but taste really good. We were planning to go for dinner in outside restaurant for few nights, but decided to stay in hotel restaurant as food was really good. What surprised me the most, even when we came for lunch or dinner 20-30 before the end, they still refiled meals and we had what we wanted.Drinks and cocktails in the bar – quite good as well. They make cocktails and I would say they tasted as good as in some restaurants outside or by the sea.Maybe a little downsize is the snack bar. They serve hot dogs and ciabatas, but most of the time you will have to wait 10-15 minutes to get them. But again, when you got them, they taste really well.So all in all, it is perfect choice for this price range and I recommend this hotel if you don't expect to get something fancy and special for such a good price.Thank you, Trakia Plaza for amazing holidays.

  Amazing holiday

  Trakia Plaza is a lovely hotel situated just off a street which has lovely shops, bars and restaurants. Trakia plaza is a short walk away from the beach and all the streets around the hotel have lots of shops too. The hotel staff are always willing to help and our checkin was very fast and we was shown to the lift with directions to our room. Our room was very clean and big and was kept clean throughout our stay The Animation team are amazing and work very hard to keep everyone entertained and happy. Danii and the team make the effort to get as many people to join in the games and are always out to make you laugh and enjoy your holiday. If you like Beer pong and aqua aerobics these are fun. Also the Cuban Party and the Foam.party is fun and not to be missed. The restaurant was lovely and there is plenty to choose from and the staff are always happy to help. The bar staff and snack bar staff work hard to provide everyone with cold drinks and slushes and food throughout the day and will always follow your instructions. Loved our stay at Trakia Plaza and can't wait to return 😊🌞🏖💃🍹

  DAY 2 of 9 OMG

  I never normally write bad reviews but so far I feel I need to do a daily write. Had 2 days here so far bDay 1. Went to go the pool once ready 9-30 no sun beds free. All taken with towels no one on them for 2 hours. Staff refused to move them. Staff rude. No spare sun beds anywhere. I was told not to move the towels. Finally managed to get 2 beds so we used chairs to sit on. Then of a night people are that sad when going for evening meal people had already put out towels for the following day. Surely this is mad and should be moved. It’s like sun bed wars. Food not great at all very limited choice. Day 2 only just started. I put my towel out ready. Went to get a coffee to be told 10am. Or go the shops to buy one. I’m all inclusive !!!!! Most people want a coffee or tea at 6-45sm ish surely. The bathroom is clean but there is no shower curtain so water goes absolutely everywhere. The floor soaked so need to use towels to mop it up. A simple shower curtain or screen would be better. I will see what else day 2 holds 😂😂🤷‍♀️🤦‍♀️
