Decent hotel with reasonable price.Location is good - hotel situates near beach and shopping streets.Little disturbing was that sunbeds around the pools were always occupied (reserved with towels etc) and nobody did not seem to care.Pool bar was nice.Rooms are very clean.

Great Value Hotel Close to both the beach and local amenities Food was good and rooms were kept tidy on a daily basis Hotel bar was great and offered a wide range of cocktails Would highly recommend using this Hotel to explore Sunny Beach and NessebarWill definitely use again when visiting beautiful Bulgaria.

people working at the reception are rude and incompetent especially the blonde and overweight receptionist with glasses such people should never work in a hotel. the room I ordered did not meet the order instead of twin bad I got single the receptionist's answer is none of our business...

We had a lovely time at Hotel Lion as a group of 3 in August 2024. The hotel is lovely and clean, our room was spacious and comfortable with a pool view, balcony was a bit small but was still nice. Food was varied and delicious at all meal times, however at breakfast it was especially busy and sometimes hard to find a table to sit at. The pool snack bar had excellent food choices and the food was quick to arrive. The hotel staff were friendly most of the time but some seemed a bit unbothered or like they didn’t want to be there at times, but friendly enough. I wish there was music around the pool area, it would be a nice touch, however there is music at the pool snack bar. There is not enough sun loungers for all of the guests and we had to go down at 7am each morning to ensure we got 3 sun loungers together. The hotel is in a great location and not a long walk to get to the main strip of Sunny Beach and the beautiful beach. Overall, this hotel is great and I would definitely recommend staying here on your trip to Sunny Beach!😊

The hotel had a good location, and the food at the hotel was quite okay. There were issues with check-in, as it starts at 3:00 PM and check-out is at 12:00 PM.The staff spoke very little English, which is somewhat understandable.When we checked into the room, the air conditioning didn’t work. The staff said they would send a technician, who claimed to have checked the room but couldn’t fix it. We spoke with the travel agency, and they arranged a room change with the hotel, plus we were supposed to get a fan in the room as a temporary solution. We checked to see if this was the case and were told that they couldn’t provide a fan, but the new room would be ready the next day.The next day, we went to the reception and met a receptionist who was very rude and simply said he couldn’t help, that it wasn’t possible to change rooms, and he completely ignored me.
