My family had very bad experiences with HI Imperial Resort hotel Sunny Beach ( Bulgaria) We were put up in an old building off to the side, and the room hadn't been cleaned properly. There was dirt under the bed and dust everywhere. The room wasn't actually cleaned; the only service we got over the entire eight days was having the towels changed. Lovely stay at this hotel that had everything we needed . The staff were very friendly and accommodating , the manager Rado is a lovely guy . You can get food pretty much throughout the day and night and the 24 hour bar was a real bonus . The hotel was very clean and lots of pleasant areas to sit . One of the worst places I’ve ever been to. The food was tasteless and warm at best. Most guests were using the microwave to warm up their meals. Fresh fruit was cut up and left in baskets to go brown and dry! There were no hot plates or hot lamps for the food to sit on or under, basically just a breading area for bacteria! It was incredible—I was there for five days and it was amazing. The people are very well-mannered, the food is excellent, the room is lovely, and the view was incredible.
