  Overall a really good experience. If you come here expecting the Ritz then you will be disappointed but we found the hotel to be excellent value for money. The rooms are spacious, clean and everything was working well. The beds are comfortable and bedding and towels were changed everyday.   I am currently at Casa Carina and will most likely be here for the last time. I have been coming here 4–5 times since 2017; back then everything was good — varied food, clean rooms, and a warm pool. Now there is no food selection, there is no warm pool, and most importantly, the rooms are not cleaned.   I rarely write reviews but am compelled to as the low quality of this hotel really impacted our holiday. We booked half board, a double with a camp bed. I was expecting four star, and I have an understanding of what this might look like. The room was horrible - like a hostel. Two low single beds pushed together - nothing to join them and no bed frame as such.   Upon arrival at the hotel we arrived around 10pm which was quite late check in was easy enough however the receptionist seemed to like she didn’t want to do any work!!!   Great hotel in a good location - five minute walk to lifts and close to bars and restaurants in the evening. Rooms were basic / no frills but comfortable. Food was amazing and the chef doing eggs at breakfast was a winner for me. Liked that breakfast started at 7, so you still had time to change into ski gear and get on an early lift. Staff friendly.
