Not what we were expecting. Why it wasn't recommended by our Reputable UK travel agent

We stayed at Quality Suites for 7 days. The room was clean and tidy. We couldn't understand the logic to have a room with a kitchen, but with no cooking facility, and then no hot running water plumbed into the facility. There was a fridge stocked with a bar, but no means even a kettle to make a coffee. The same can be said for the bathroom, yes there was hot water on a timer of 15 minutes, but the was basin again wasn't plumbed for a hot water tap, again a personal hygiene issus. I have stayed in hotels throughout the world in over 25 countries (some were 3rd world) but theses had the basic hygiene requirement. The staff were all friendly, and helpful. The restaurant on site although basic was acceptable. We certainly wouldn't stay there or recommend it. Not what I bargained for

We stayed seven nights at the Quality Suites in Vila Velha (big mistake). In our group there were 15 adults and 2 children. I have stayed in hotels and accommodation in over 25 countries throughout the world, including other 3rd world ones. I’ve never stayed in a hotel without Hot running water in a bathroom before, staying at Quality Suites in Vila Velha. There was a shower, with hot water but this was on a 15minute timer. How can you have adequate hygiene, unless you use sanitiser in a bathroom. There was not even a plug supplied in the basin. There was a kitchen, in the room, but again no hot water, and not even a microwave. If we had made a sandwich, there was no facilities to wash up. I should have suspected something was not right when our travel agent, gave us a disclaimer about the place and would not recommend it, being at our own peril. We stayed in several other hotels in Brazil and they all had running hot water in the basin . The staff were helpful, the place was relatively clean. Lack of basic facilities for visitors is not acceptable, and it should be stated on their website. Hotel is on the beach, you hear the ocean from your room. The waves are so peaceful at night. Bed comfortable, free breakfast.Great location Staff Friendly's and helpful.Room is a suite, bed room , living room , patio ,I took ocean view, worth the extra money. This hotel is not as quality as it sound.Poor service and very poor breakfast even they don’t have a toaster they are using cheese sandwich toaster who take ages to toast.The table not cleaned after peoples eating as only one staff working and couldn’t cope.The room service very poor the bed will not set properly as only the sheet spread over untidy.The water for showering are very limited and very slow even to use the sink.Sorry we did not have a good experience.
