BAD EXPERIENCE

I bought a room with a king size bed and instead I received one with two individual beds. Also asked for and adaptator for electric light and they wanted to me to buy buy one instead at a very high price!!!! I couldnt believe it. At the end I forgot some shirts, they told me they were going to follow up though e-mail (dont know why they cant communicate on a call o whatsapp) and at the end NEVER g… I bought a room with a king size bed and instead I received one with two individual beds. The Melis Paulista is a great hotel. Staff are wonderful. The rooms are very nice with a really comfortable bed. The breakfast buffet is delicious, especially the omelettes. Very convenient to shopping and good restaurants. Also easy walk to the Museum of Art São Paulo. We had an amazing stay for our first visit to São Paulo in mid-August. Being right on Avenida Paulista was excellent, making it so easy to walk anywhere we wanted to go.The morning staff—including George, Georgina, and Davison—were truly exceptional. I had stayed at the Meliá Paulista on at least two occasions before 2020. My impression is that the quality of service and personal attention at the front desk and in housekeeping has improved over that period.
