  Great Experience with Friendly Staff and Convenient Location

  I had a very pleasant stay at the hotel in São Paulo Higienópolis. The entire experience—from check-in to check-out—was smooth and seamless. The front desk staff were professional, friendly, and welcoming throughout.I also appreciated the thoughtful inclusions such as complimentary water, juice, and local beer. The location was ideal—quiet and not overly crowded, yet conveniently close to everything within walking distance.Overall, it was a great stay, and I would definitely recommend this hotel.

  Pros:- Staff genuinely lovely, constantly tried to compensate for the hotel’s shortcomings.- Excellent location.- Bed comfortable, room surprisingly large.- Balcony was a pleasant surprise (though lacking standard safety features).- Swimming pool was enjoyable, water fountain feature was nice (while it worked).- Bread and pastry selection at breakfast.Cons Room - Placed in old room; elements were outdated or not working.- Only one bathrobe provided for two guests.- Amenities were leaking (tap) or empty on arrival (soap dispenser)- Bathroom had decades-old tiles and fixtures that sprayed water in all directions.- Balcony doors NOT airtight; strong wind made the room so cold we needed an electric heater despite 20–30°C weather.- Air-conditioning malfunctioned (stuck on icy setting, then unusable).- Mini fridge extremely loud, had to be unplugged immediately.Cons Building- Lifts were slow, frequently missed floors, used for food preparation, cleaning, and guests. Delays sometimes up to a 10-minute wait.- Air-conditioning issues seemed to affect the entire building; even staff was cold.- Odd loud hallway musak added to unsettling atmosphere, possibly to mask lift delays or poor soundproofing.- Room decor was tacky, furniture outdated (not charmingly vintage, just manky and old)- Entrance featured a random racing car with a crooked stuffed doll, which looked bizarre, alongside framed neon graffiti which didn’t match the hotel’s target clientele or high price point.Cons Breakfast Food Quality- Fruit selection was severely lacking; I had to switch to omelette and vegetables.- Drinks were low-quality: decanted orange juice was actually bottled, subpar drip coffee.- Corn tasted sour; cheapest quality cheese resembled youth-hostel quality.- In Brazil, with abundant fresh produce, this was surprising and embarrassing- Overall food quality relied on cheap, unripe, or reused ingredients despite “luxury” pricing.- Breakfast entrance was cordoned off with an airport-style barrier, creating an unwelcoming impression.OverallThe stay felt like a three-star experience at best, saved only by kind staff and good location.Significant corner-cutting on quality contradicts the hotel’s luxury price tag. As it stands, I would not recommend it, though with new management the property has potential to meet the standard it advertises. The initiative was well received by this audience, although we fully understand that it may not appeal to everyone.   Standard 3 stars hotel with outdated room decor. Bathroom on 2 stars. Whats good there is clean, breakfast poor choice but ok. And part of hotel is under renovation so you should know about it. The service is good, people are nice and willing to help.The worst thing are elevators, you must wait so long and buttons dont work properly. I think that better is to book other hotel.   Hidden gem in residential neighborhood near shopping Higienopolis. Residencial feeling. Good service. Breakfast is regular with a lot restaurants and bakeries near. Central area of city so you can get around easy. Excelent cost / benefit price.
