What a pleasant surprise! My family and I stayed at the Fasano Sao Paolo on Dec 29 for 4 nights in their 2 bedroom suite. It was extremely well appointed - a blend between mid century modern furniture with modern technology. We loved the heated Japanese toilets and the fresh floral bouquets throughout the suite. Understated elegance

Really liked the place - from the lobby to the rooms, all oozed understated elegance. The hotel is *tiny* with only 4 rooms on each floor, but it also means you get well looked after. Room service was top notch Italian fare. I had arrived early before check-in and they were very generous with the shower facilities in their spa. Security was tight, so not a problem there. Again, lovely little place… Really liked the place - from the lobby to the rooms, all oozed understated elegance.
