I had the pleasure of Staying here while on a business trip. Overall great experience. The staff were friendly and accommodating. They worked hard to fulfill and requests. Accommodations were what you would expect from Hilton. Rooms were clean. On site dining was great. I have stayed in many hotels in Rio, mainly for work, and occasionally for leisure… This Hilton is a total shame for its name! It is not vintage, it is simply completely dated. Everything is old and falling apart. The smell in most areas is disgusting. In my room now (September 2026) and in July 2026: - there is mold to be seen everywhere- the curtains are damp and smell of mold & fungus - som… I have stayed in many hotels in Rio, mainly for work, and occasionally for leisure… This Hilton is a total shame for its name! Wonderful staff in a lovely hotel

We spent a wonderful week at this hotel. The staff are absolutely fantastic and so friendly . The rooftop bar/ bistro is a great place to relax with amazing views. We are lucky enough to be Hilton diamond members and were given a handmade chocolate model of the Sugarloaf cable car. It tasted delicious.
