Average hotel with important nuisances

The hotel is very close to the center and just behind the airport Santos Dumont, you can easily walk to both directions and reach in 15 min. The issue is that after 19:00 hrs the street in front of the hotel gets full with homeless people, and the police is not there (police is always there during day time).The general state of the hotel is standard with furniture showing age. We spent two nights at the hotel and it was a pleasure. The room was very comfortable, quiet and we slept well. The bar had some interesting beers and great coffee, well it is Brazil. It’s the best place to have breakfast with warm welcome of Ariane and her team in the Novotel restaurent Santos Dumont. We were here with family and stayed for. A week and they were consistent in their attitude of customer services.
