Hotel management advise guests not to drink tap water, yet they do not provide complimentary water in rooms. Management policy is to purchase it from the minibar at R$18 / AUD5 for a 330ml container. Very good value - but there are reasons for that - its a little far out of the city to make transit in and out comfortable without timing outside of rush hour and even then it will be 60mins in an Uber to the centre of the city. Clean hotel in a quiet area away from the crowds and busy tourist area of Copa. The nightly rates were reasonable, but I was ripped off at checkout. I was running late for the airport and did not reconcile my bill before leaving the hotel. I asked the woman at the desk if she would send me the final bill via email. I had a fantastic time at Hilton Barra. The bedroom is large and comfortable, with an incredible shower. The gym and pool are both fantastic with an amazing view as it is locatedi n the rooftop.
