    Wonderful Hotel

    This is a very good hotel undergoing some renovations. It’s very quiet with comfortable beds. The staff, especially William at the front desk, are extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet is very good. The hotel is attached to a mall with a large supermarket. The restaurant is good and there are many restaurants within easy walking distance. I highly recommend!

    Beautiful room and fantastic service - everyone is very friendly and helpful and the room was spacious and ingeniously laid out. Hotel is in a lovely area with lots of restaurants nearby. Only complaint is the lounge which is nothing of note.

    A Disappointing Experience at Hilton

    Stay away from this hotel!I was treated unfairly during my recent stay. While ironing my shirt, I accidentally broke a glass on a console. Unbeknownst to me, the surface of the console was glass, and I realized that the room's iron, despite being available, was not accompanied by an ironing board.After the incident, I immediately contacted room service to report the broken glass. However, when the manager came to assess the situation, he brought a security officer with him. As a reputable medical doctor and university professor, I was shocked and offended by this treatment—I am not a vandal.To make matters worse, the charge for the broken glass was excessive and felt completely unjustified. This experience has left a bad taste, and I will not be returning to any Hilton hotels in the future. I am revoking my Hilton Honors membership and will now recommend other hotels where guests are treated with respect and dignity.

    We had our wedding in Porto Alegre and encouraged our friends & family to stay at this Hilton location. WE COULDN’T BE HAPPIER WITH OUR DECISION!!!1. The Staff at this location is extremely attentive and remarkably friendly. The front desk associates were helpful in every way from checking in to checking out. We started out in a standard room for the first 3 days of our stay and then switched to a suite for our wedding day. They let us change rooms early and seamlessly on the day of our wedding and that way a Big help. Thank You!!I of course forgot my belt (Cinto) in our old room and the wonderful cleaning lady helped me recover it as I needed to be out the door immediately and into my wedding. Close Call…..Wedding Was Perfect 😍 2. The breakfast was amazing. Such a huge variety of breads, meats and cheeses. They had bacon and eggs as well. The staff was amazing and super attentive. Top Notch Service!!!3. We had 12 other guests in 7 different rooms and they ALL had wonderful experience’s with the staff and truly enjoyed their stay at The Hilton Porto Alegre. It was a pleasure for Us, The Bride & Groom as well. We will certainly recommend this Luxury Hotel to Everyone!!

    We liked it very much. We were upgraded to a suite which was very nice. Strange that there were noc tea/coffee facilities. Our first Hilton without. The suite was huge and very comfortable. Breakfast was nice with very attentive staff. The area of the Hilton is just great with a lot of restaurants.
