I’ve wanted to stay at this hotel since first coming to this area and we had to be in town for a night, so I used it as an excuse to book. The hotel is very attractively decorated inside and the room was large and the bed was very comfortable (a Sealy Posturepedic—I had to look). The staff couldn’t have been more pleasant and helpful. They have a rooftop bar and pool with a great view of the Atlantic Ocean. The hotel also offers free indoor parking. Upon arriving, the hotel sent a complimentary cheese platter and a chilled bottle of spumante to our room, which was a very pleasant surprise. Breakfast is included, and was served in our room because of the current precautions being taken. The food was abundant: eggs, tapioca (the Brazilian kind, not the pudding), breads, cheeses, cold cuts, cake and tropical fruits. My only complaint was that there wasn’t enough coffee for us (but we drink a lot of coffee).This hotel is the closest hotel to Ponto do Seixas, which is the easternmost point of the Americas, which makes this another reason to consider staying here.

Worse experience ever!

My husband and I reserved a superior side view room for a overnight. As soon as we arrived the doorbell told my husband to park the car directly in the car park. At the check in we were given the door key of a room on the third floor. As we entered the room the room was very messy, the bed was not done, the bin was full of garbage, the bathroom was dirty and the windows were open with water all over the floor. I immediately rang the reception complaining about the room, and they say that that was the room!The house keeper saw us quite upset so she called the reception saying that room they gave us was under refurbishment, so they gave us another room with a view on a garbage dump.My husband went down immediately telling the receptionist we didn’t want to stay, as the room was very poorly And EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE. We had to pay the full rate (855 reais for one night!!!!) and we left immediately after.Photos at disposal, if requested. Very awful experience, we don’t recommend this hotel!!! Please stay as far away as possible if you don’t want to waste your money!Look at the picture it is the side view paid 855 reais.... for 15 minutes before go away. Nightmare ! Federica and Fabio Rima

This hotel is a tremendous disappointment. It has good reviews, and I cannot imagine how. When I arrived, the bathroom was simply dirty, with wads of hair on the floor, and some hairs on the sink and toilet! The room was boiling, and the air conditioning simply didn't work. When I complained, people came to clean and fix. The air conditioner couldn't be fixed. After an hour or so, they offered me an inferior room. They claimed that the hotel was full. Straight lie. Later, a whole load of people arrived. They simply didn't want to help. The location is ridiculous. The beach in front is just a pile of rocks. The good beach is quite a bit further to the left. The side view of the room is a view of wires and air conditioners. All in all, I shall never go back there. Although the hotel personnel were nice, the room we've gotten had nothing to do with the online pictures. It was by far the worse room we've ever stayed. Not only the view was bad, but the bed was awful, the room too small, and the bathroom? Oh dear! On a positive note the hotel personnel was very sweet. Great Hotel, although Shower very Hit and Miss or should I say Hot or Cold

Stayed at the hotel for a conference in Joao Pessoa. The hotel in general is very good. the rooms are cleaned everyday and the breackfast selection is excellent. The only downfall is the shower was very hit and miss as most mornings I ended up having a lukewarm shower although some days it was hot.
