Outdated and awful wifi

Good location, close to several nice restaurants. The staff is friendly and the breakfast is decent. The rooms are outdated but clean. WiFi is the worst I have ever experienced. Unable to even make basic calls. Paid option isn’t much better. Can’t suggest the hotel if you have any work to do. Very poor sound insulation

Very helpful and friendly staff, food good as well.However will not at all recommend, because out of my hotel experiences around the world, especially considering 4 stars and above, I have never been in a hotel room that has this Poor sound insulation!! Can some one please just sit in room 1124 or 1113 for a couple of hours? The random cracking/squeaking noise from the ceiling/wall/flooring/corner/cabinets or whatever the building itself can be super loud and wake you up during late night. And not to exaggerate, during my 7 o 8 nights here, nearly every night, I'll be waken up by some random loud noise from the building itself, and it sounded super near, almost like someone already in your room, opening your door or something. Very annoying and scary. 2nd, if you stay in either this two rooms for a while, you will be able to clearly hear your neighbour charging his phone, going to toilet, talking, hanging the clothes, drinking water, opening suitcase, everything! you can hear every detail, like you are in the same room next to each other. I cannot understand why, a hotel cannot even guarantee the basic quiet sleep quality. Let alone if someone talks, walks in the corridor, that's super loud noise as well. Again, nearly every night as late as 2 or 3 am, can hear people making big noise in the corridor. So overall, the building itself is cracking/squeaking loudly and randomly, you can hear next room and corridor super clearly. Not possible at all for a good rest and sleep. Staff very friendly helping me to change from 1124 to 1113, however sadly it is still noisy and Poor sound insulated. great Location, but needs update

the hotel is in a great location. Their breakfast service is wonderful. The people are nice, but the rooms are showing their age. Bathroom as showing mold on the white tiles. Also some kind of flying insects kept showing up every morning. In the current month of August, there is no A/C. I know it is winter, but when the temp is in the mid to high 70's it feels warm at night. The bed is very hard. I also was a bit aprehensive when at check in the Clerck is trying to upsell me the room I requested.
