The hotel is perfectly placed to explore Ghent and is so close to everything it is easy to pop back during the day. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. Decent hotel in an amazing location.Smallish rooms but lacking a fridge or tea and coffee. The fridge was a necessity as was in the high 30s so cold drinks were essential.Other than that the hotel was OK. Breakfast was good, but oh how I missed having a fridge. Let's start with something unequivocally positive: the Ibis Gent is located right in the middle of Gent, so it is a very good choice for a visit to Gent in that aspect. This hotel is located strategically in the very centre of Ghent. The staff were quite helpful, breakfast was fabulous, room was clean.But, first, although they claim that they provide parking ,there are only 13 spaces! Second, their double room is too small for two people.
