  It has a great location, as it is very close to the train station. The service at the reception was excellent; on the first day, the receptionist recommended places to eat and marked them on the map. It takes 25–30 minutes to walk to the historic center—and you won't get lost—or you can take the tram. It is well worth staying here.   A wonderful, well-positioned, clean, comfortable, and friendly hotel.

  We had a lovely stay in the Hotel Chamade on 2nd September and were really very impressed with the whole place.The staff were friendly, the location was excellent - being a short walk from the train station and a roughly 30 minute walk from the historic centre.   Loads of TLC — and it shows

  We had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Chamade. The staff were friendly, great breakfast buffet , and our room was really clean.What really stood out was the hotel itself.   We selected the Hotel Chamade for its closeness to the station. It is certainly not far to walk but the footpaths are very uneven so you do need to be careful with suitcases. We spoilt ourselves by booking the room with a terrace and it was so lovely, plenty of room and the best bathroom- two sinks. We did use the terrace each evening to just enjoy sitting!
