  Good for a nite or 2 if you are on the lower floor that looks onto courtyard

  The room was a bit dark since they had all the shades in black and room was decorated in grey. Staff were efficient and no complaints. Bed was a bit on soft side. We did not go for the 25 euro breakfast since it was pretty pedestrian however it was on top floor with a view. The out door patio was fine and we ate our take away salads there .   Nice if you like to sleep on a building site

  Stayed here for 4 nights , lovely hotel and the staff were lovely and in a good location. However next to hotel there is a massive building project going on which starts stupid early in the morning . One morning it started at 5.30 am they were putting up a huge crain and didnt finish till 17.00 hrs stayed out all day cause of the noise in hotel.   Comfortable and unique rooms in a great location

  Ghent River Hotel is made up of several buildings renovated to provide a modern feel while still keeping historic details and charm. The room I stayed in was in a very old building (200-300 years according to the front desk clerk). The room was huge and had some cool architectural features.   The hotel is located in an old warehouse on the riverfront in central Ghent.The rooms are comfortably and nicely decorated.   Although the staff at this hotel were professional and pleasant the reason for the low score is that of three nights there, we were only to have a single restful night of sleep;.
