I had to contact the hotel several times today because I kept changing the bookings (for 3 rooms) and Max (the person I spoke with at the hotel) was extremely patient and very helpful with everything. We booked 3 nights at this hotel as part of a package including the Eurostar, and would consider it excellent value.The hotel is situated in a fairly quiet street very close to the river and the old town. A great hotel in a lovely old building perfectly situated for the markets and old city. The rooms were comfy, the staff were lovely, and it has a nice quiet bar when you can finish off or start the evening. There's a courtyard too. Arrived at our room for an overnight stay, on a warm, sunny day in October. Opened the door to find the room was stifling and hot, showing 27 degrees in the room, with a sign on the window saying “Do not open, Window broken!” We went down to Reception to ask for the heating to be turned off, and were told by the officious Manager- she couldn’t do anything about it!
