From the friendly, stylish woman who checked us in to the rest of the staff, we had a great 6 night stay at Aparthotel Castelnou. We appreciated the quiet 1BR room, which looked exactly like the website. The location, a 11 minute walk to Gent Dampoort station and a 15 minute walk to the medieval centre was peaceful. The man at the reception who checked us in, whose name I unfortunately can't recall, gave us the most pleasant check-in experience we've had so far. We had a great stay here with our one year old and three year old! We appreciated the cot and rollaway bed set up upon our arrival, and the walk to city center was about 15 min so not too bad.
