Amazing stay at Banks. Ideal location a 20 minute walk or short taxi ride from the train station and a few minutes walk to the cathedral. Nicely styled and designed hotel at a convenient location. Staff relatively friendly. Big letdown is the loud music in the lounge area during the whole day. Staff was unwilling to accommodate a request to change the music to a more neutral style and level. Apparently the owners want to set a hip standard of a quasi dance location. DIsappointing. This is a very good hotel and in an excellent location, close to Grote Markt and the cathedral. It is very modern with a nice reception area. There is a lift to the rooms. There are complimentary drinks and nibbles in the early evening. When we arrived Thirza was on reception and checked us in. She was extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful.
