This hotel is centrally located in the quiet old Viennese Biedermeier passage, Sünnhof. It is just a few minutes' walk to countless shopping venues, restaurants, bars, wine bars, cinemas, banks and the city park, St. Stephen's cathedral, St. Charles' church, the state opera and the famous Hundertwasserhaus. Rochusgasse on the U3 underground line as well as Landstraße on the U4 line are both to be found close by (approximately 500 m). There is a direct connection to the airport available via the CAT (City-Air-Terminal) express service from Landstraße/ Wien Mitte underground station.

The hotel was built in 1816. The hotel has 21 junior suites, 12 suites, 31 single rooms and 137 double rooms, which are located on 4 storeys and are reachable by 2 lifts.
