The resort is located at the gateway to the World Heritage listed Uluru- Kata Tjuta National Park, just 6 km from Ayers Rock Airport.

Guests have a choice of 72 apartments. The reception desk is open round the clock. Guests can store valuables in the safe. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. A variety of shops are available, including a supermarket and souvenir shop. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Parking facilities available to guests include a garage (no extra charge) and a car park. Further services include a childcare service, medical assistance, a transfer service, room service, a laundry service, a coin-operated laundry and a hotel shuttle bus.

From the outside these apartments are nothing special to look at: don't be deceived. From a super friendly reception, where nothing is too much trouble, to spacious and comfortable (2 bedroom apartments) flats this represent good value for money. Our apartment was spacious and clean and well equipped, even down to an air fyer! I'll comment on two things in my review: Emu Walk Apartments themselves, and the overall experience of the Ayers Rock Resort.Emu Walk Apartments were great. Check-in was easy, the staff was friendly and helpful. We found our room to be clean and spacious. We stayed in a two bedroom apartment. The accommodations were just average especially considering the five star price you pay to stay. Further, the bathroom was filthy and the curtains throughout were stained. Uluru is a great place and definitely something you should see. Stayed for 4 nights and room is not serviced for that length of stay but we were fine with that. They left plenty of towels and if we needed anything else we just asked. We prefer having the extra space for that length of stay and we found it well equipped. Everything you need is a short walk away, alternatively there is a free resort shuttle every 20 minutes or so.
