A most memorable experience
We decided to stay at The Rydges quite simply because they were the only ones to answer their phone. Very poor customer service from the other establishments, even after leaving messages. The Rydges was a very pleasant surprise. No lifts so we had to use the stairs to get to our first floor room. Our old legs are not as good as they used to be, but we managed the stairs fine. Our room was larger t… We decided to stay at The Rydges quite simply because they were the only ones to answer their phone. Modern and comfortable, ask for rooms far away from the kitchen
Will start with the positives. Staff were all lovely, there was a decent amount of secure parking. Rooms were nice and modern (huge tvs!) and beds were comfortable. Make sure you ask not to be in room 26 or 28 or any room above the kitchen. You will be directly above the kitchen exhaust fan and it will sound like you’re inside an airplane until it’s switched off (I think around 9.30/10 at night).… Will start with the positives. Restaurant Disappointing
Stayed ther on a Monday public holiday recently. The desk staff and room were very good but the restaurant was disappointing. Basic food, no grill, the menu looks amazing but virtually nothing on it was available. Understaffed, seriously overpriced. Pork belly served with 1 lettuce leaf and sauce. I would definitely recommend eating elsewhere.Stayed ther on a Monday public holiday recently. The desk staff and room were very good but the restaurant was disappointing. Lovely stay in Kalgoorlie
Rydges was a lovely hotel about a 5 minute drive from the main town. It’s got a nice pool area and we had a really good dinner in their restaurant. The bar is also a nice place to sit and relax. Our room was well appointed and had a huge bathroom, with plenty of towels and toiletries. Breakfast was not quite as good as dinner but perfectly fine to set us up for the day ahead.Rydges was a lovely hotel about a 5 minute drive from the main town. Everything you need for a comfortable stay in Kalgoorlie
The rooms are large and spacious, well fitted out and spotlessly clean. The property is not located in the city centre, but if you have a car this isn’t an issue and there is plenty of parking on site. There is a lovely large pool to cool off in, a hot-tub, a nice seating area in the garden, bar and restaurant on-site.The bathroom was well lit and ventilated, my room had a huge spa, large shower re… The rooms are large and spacious, well fitted out and spotlessly clean.
