Family Visit with 8 and 10 year old
We took the grand kids up for their first visit to the snow, 8 and 10 y/o, our first time in 30 years, the hotel was better than expected, the pool was not big but the kids loved it. The hotel put on a music puppet show one night. Could not fault the hotel. Had a nice pizza meal in th restaurant, good prices for the kids, CheersWe took the grand kids up for their first visit to the snow, 8 and 10 y/o, our first time in 30 years, the hotel was better than expected, the pool was not big but the kids loved it. Do not stay here if you want to sleep!!
Rooms were spacious enough but the noise from the bar and games room was enough to drive you mad! I do not recommend this hotel for young families with kids who just want to ski all day and be in bed at a reasonable time. Definitely do not recommend if you have children, or just prefer going to sleep at a reasonable hour. Property itself is extremely outdated and in dire need of TLC. Dinner was rather delicious!
Had dinner here one night. Food was excellent. The place is a bit dated etc as are many others on the mountain but the food was delicious. I had the fettuccini prawn tomato chilli dish which was just perfect. We also had the soup of the day which was literally the best pumpkin soup we’ve ever had. Kids chicken and chips as expect except were more fish shaped pieces than nuggets but same same! Staf… Had dinner here one night. Food was excellent. Mount Buller’s Best
Amazing staff and great location within walking distance from the main slopes. The pub atmosphere is the best on the mountain and the food is incredible. I’d highly recommend this to anyone of all ages with plenty for the kids. The rooms were also spacious and very clean.
