Absolutely freezing inside. Expected to walk in from the cold and enjoy the warmth but that was not possible. The room was nice but cold when we arrived. The a/c struggled to warm the room. The restaurant was also cold. Again not what we expected. Stayed a night, room was great bed was amazing, as was view. However the restaurant was below average for this hotel. Entree was tasty however overpriced for what we got. We both ordered steak for our main, mine was meant to be smaller but looked bigger. While cooked to med/rare had little flavor. The ribeye came with a bone which was cooked as ordered but was much smaller. Service, below average.… Stayed a night, room was great bed was amazing, as was view. Overrated and very disappointing We went as everyone goes to Bathurst if one has a Mustang. The highlight of our trip was going around the circuit. The room was fine. The shower over a bath was not what we expected and quite dangerous. The bathroom was tired and needed a lot of work. We could hear everyone’s toilet flushing during the night. The room did not look like what is advertised on the website. No bedhead on the walls, just bed placed to wall. Upon returning home, the room shows on the website as the Conrod Suite is a newly converted boardroom set up for meetings. Stayed here for 4 nights for the 12 hour race. fantastic view over the circuit by the chase from the balcony, only went into the circuit for about half an hour to buy a tshirt and a program.
