Great experience! The hotel is a old house, totally renewed and clean on the inside. This week was really cold in Mendoza, but it was warm inside the hotel. Location is unbeatable. Across of the main square, 2 blocks away of the pedestrian promenade and 7 blocks away of the bars street. We arrived at the hotel. Staff person was very courteous. Things were looking promising. We got into our room. This is where everything started to go south. Room was small, layout was awful, bathroom was super small. The room carpet was wear out big time. Bed sheets and blankets have been cleaned million times. You can tell they were wear out easily. I staged my north-south bicycle trip from this hotel, returning from the south when I was finished. It is located on the Place de Independence, and near many places to eat and drink.I was able to store my lugging here for several weeks. The staff are friendly and very helpful.
