Excellent first impressions of this hotel! The lobby was pleasant and service was patient with our terrible Spanish, with the receptionist even speaking a little English! However, we did discover an abandoned earring on the floor of our room, so that concerned me a bit. DON’T STAY OR EAT HERE if you value customer service and want edible food. I asked for a reservation for their Christmas Eve dinner as a guest at the hotel giving them my details. Our booking was cancelled ten days out from arrival. They lied and said the credit card declined but it had heaps of funds on it and they just took our booking and left us with nowhere to stay!!! The one good thing about this hotel and the only reason I did not award a lower rating was that the reception staff member who assisted us was friendly and most helpful. We had originally booked to stay 3 nights, but after the first night, did not wish to stay for more than one night.
