We have been to Córdoba twice before but this visit the selection of the Hotel adjacent to La Canada ‘river’.. more like a brook just now as water levels are low.. made for a more appreciative visit. The staff was excellent and it was great to be able to practice aside from Spanish, some French, some basic Patoi/Creole. On our arrival the first thing we noticed was how dirty the reception area was. The lobby forms part of the breakfast area and there was food on the floor which is actually a trip hazzard.We booked an executive suite and were left thoroughly disappointed with the room, its facilities and state of repair.We were fast asleep at midnight when we heard loud knocking on our door.
