The hotel enjoys a privileged location in Argentina, and throughout the 4 seasons visitors will be wowed by snowy peaks, glaciers, lakes and colours that make for an unequalled landscape. This village of the Andes is the perfect starting point from where to get to know the magnificent Perito Moreno Glacier and the whole area of Los Glaciares National Park. In 1981 UNESCO declared this park a World Heritage Site. Comandante Armando Tola International Airport is about 25 km from the hotel.

Bring earplugs if you want a good nights sleep.
My initial opinion was that it was a quaint hotel, very friendly and helpful staff. However the constant noise overshadowed everything else. Guests talking in the garden until late. I could hear the guest snoring in the bedroom next to mine. Walls per paper thin.My initial opinion was that it was a quaint hotel, very friendly and helpful staff. Friendly staff, good if you're on a budget
There was a nation-wide 24-hour strike in the transport sector which meant our flight was cancelled and we ended up with two nights in El Calafate that were not planned. Our travel agent found us this hotel so it was kind of an emergency situation and not a place we had booked beforehand. It's a 3-star hotel but I'd say it's more like a 2-star. The rooms are very worn (we had two different rooms,… There was a nation-wide 24-hour strike in the transport sector which meant our flight was cancelled and we ended up with two nights in El Calafate that were not planned. A clean place to stay but nothing exciting.
Overall, the hotel was okay - it is in a good location & clean spaces. The hospitality of the staff I interacted with was poor; not friendly or helpful. One afternoon I was sitting in the lobby waiting for time to pass and I asked if I could get a coffee. The answer, “not possible.” Only items available were those in the refrigerator - good options if wanted something cold. All you can do is l… Overall, the hotel was okay - it is in a good location & clean spaces. The hospitality of the staff I interacted with was poor; not friendly or helpful. The price-quality ratio is excellent.
The location, breakfast and staff attention were the best. Excellent value for money. The breakfast is varied and plentiful, and the hours are flexible. They were kind enough to waive our late check-in fee due to a general strike in Argentina.
