The lobby is good, but that's where my pleasant experience ended. Maintenance had to let me into my room, which required a shoulder butt into the door to open it, after unlocking it. Extra security, I guess? Unfortunately, the interior of the room was badly dated. I was working in buenos aires, and i decided to extend my stay and i chose to stay at the hotel I stayed at with my husband in January, and We had a good experience. Others have commented that some aspects of the rooms are dated and tired BUT everything functioned perfectly, the linen and towels etc were spotless and the air conditioning perfect. Any shortcomings in the fabric of the room were however more than compensated for by the warmth and efficiency of the staff. We traveled around Argentina, using BA as a base, so we checked in and out of this hotel 3 times, and it was a good experience each time. If you scan get pesos at the blue dollar rate, it is much less expensive to pay in pesos, but even if you pay with card to American dollars, the hotel is very affordable.
