I am giving it a 2 star review just for the excelent location.The room was very small, air conditioner had some decades workd but just on/off control, no dry/cool/heat function. The worst however was the bathroom, no way of keeping the toilet seat up so it was needed to hold it with your hand while urinating. We stayed here for 7 nights over the holidays. The location is great. The hotel is only a block from 9 de julio avenue, and a few blocks from the obelisk. There are plenty of bus stops around and we definitely took adventage of that. The breakfast was a simple continental with bread, eggs, bacon, sweets, fruit and cereal. Nice hotel with good wifi. For my non Spanish speaking friends download Netflix before you go...very limited English channels available. Nice breakfast. Here is a hotel that can easily be overlooked when searching for accommodation in BA. It is located just off Av. Santa Fe on the edge of the Recoleta district in a quiet street (well, as quiet as any street in BA can be.) Clean, well serviced by very helpful staff and the rates are very good. + The 'executive' room was not fancy yet it had OK view, good bed and enough storage space. The shower was strong and warm.
