What a dump!
What a dump. We were put in a room on the 7th floor that can only be described as a dungeon. No air con, one small window, outdated, falling apart rooms, dirty bathroom you name it. The staff were rude, the bar only seemed to open at certain times, communal area was hot and stuffy as well as filled with dirty glasses, cups and bottles. The hotel shows four stars on the sign outside, but possibly this would have been the case many years ago but it would not compare well to other hotels in across "la Vella".We came as part of one of two coach tours using the hotel, but the service was not able to handle so many UK visitors simultaneously. Would have been better with nicer staff and better organisation
We stayed in this hotel on a Shearings holiday for 4 nights. The room was really nice with a good shower, comfy bed and a small fridge. A hairdryer was included and a very good air conditioning unit especially with the hot weather. The towels were changed everyday and the bedding was changed every two days. Parking disappintment
We were on a 3 week road tour of France and Spain and had booked Alegria President, Andorra as it offered parking. We could not pre book parking and we were told not to check.in until after 3 pm. We arrived at 3 on the dot to be told they had just given out the last parking. We were told there was public parking a 10 minute walk away. Pleasant, comfortable hotel.
Stayed here for four days, with Shearings. lovely reception area, which always smelled lovely. The staff were always pleasant too. Two good, fast lifts. On first floor, very large room with a balcony. The room was really lovely, well decorated and with a huge bed, although the mattress was a little harder than I am used too (slept well, though).
