Shocking overbooking, nonexistent management - don’t go!

I booked a 6-night stay (Sept 8–14) at Hotel Saranda Butrinti via the Meliá app back in June. When my friend and I arrived around 8 PM on September 8th, we were hit with a massive shock: the front desk informed us they were overbooked and could only accommodate us for 2 nights.According to the receptionist, they changed their booking system in August, and "this had happened to a lot of customers."… I booked a 6-night stay (Sept 8–14) at Hotel Saranda Butrinti via the Meliá app back in June. Its was only bc of the price. The suite was 280€ per 2 people but we got the normal room that was 240€. Room was kinda small.For a hotel in Saranda novery good. It was clean tho. We had a fantastic stay at this hotel and would happily return. The highlight was definitely the staff, who were friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming throughout our visit. A special thank you to Mel, Jenny, and Nalda at reception, as well as Anna at breakfast.
