This was the worst holiday we have ever experienced. We arrived to find the hotel undergoing major refurbishment, with marble flooring being installed in the entrance, dining area, staircases and first-floor landing while guests were still staying there. Nasty hotel.Far from the water . You got to pay every day extra $60 to the beach for a spot.Discussing breakfast . Worst hotel in our Albanian trip. The power was cut off midnight until after 3am, no explanation. The elevator was very tiny. The poor staff had to do everything! There was never anyone manning the reception. The restaurant was not prepared to serve dinner for groups. The website should state that there is comprehensive building work going on next door or at least a heads up about the construction work before check-in would have been appreciated. We complained many times; the hotel suggested that maybe we shouldn't be in our room between 10am-2pm, when the work was supposedly going on. This was never the case.
