Great pool location in Berat!
We chose Hotel Columbo for a one-night stay in Berat, drawn in by the striking building and the pool. Check-in was quick and easy, though the front desk staff could have been friendlier. The pool was the clear highlight, really lovely, and the location is central clos to the main strip. The rooms were spacious but dated with a nice modern bathroom. When you first see the hotel, it looks completely out of place, like a weird mashup between the White House and Congress. Sumptuous hotel in Berat!
Berat is beautiful! Well worth a visit. Fabulous hotel with red carpet running up to the entrance! We were on the first floor, so didn't have to worry about queueing for the lift!The room was very comfortable - with a kettle too, which was a bonus.
