Location

The hotel is situated within a very close distance of the city centre, retaining a secluded and peaceful setting. Edinburgh Airport is situated at a distance of approximately 13 km.

Facility

The hotel was built in 1886. Guests have a choice of 67 non-smoking rooms, including 4 single rooms and 48 double rooms, located in a 3-storey main building and an auxiliary building. The friendly staff at the reception desk in the lobby are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe and currency exchange service. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. There are a number of shops as well. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Additional amenities include a playroom and a library. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the car park. Further services and facilities include a 24-hour security service, room service, a laundry service and a coin-operated laundry. The business centre is on hand for guests' business requirements and provides a fax machine.

Rooms

Rooms feature a living room and a bathroom. Central heating ensures comfortable temperatures. All rooms are carpeted and include a double bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe and a desk are also available. Guests will also find a tea/coffee station included among the standard features. Further amenities include an ironing set and a trouser press. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio, an alarm clock and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well.     one of the best experience in our visits, out of center but great connection with many bus lines, very nice and warm staffs, feeling like 18.th century due to history of the hotel

    This hotel is out of town but convenient and not crowded. Can use bus which bus stop si just infront of the hotel. Room a bit smell. Daily clean but not sure it’s because of the carpet? We didn’t...
