Location

Alte is a typical Portuguese village, one of the most beautiful in the country, and is situated on the edge of the Serra do Caldeirão in the inland Algarve, 45 km from Faro airport and 25 km from Loulé. Restaurants, bars, shopping opportunities, links to public transport and the bus station can all be found nearby.

2 junior suites, 2 suites and 28 double rooms are available to guests in a 3-storey main building and a 2-storey auxiliary building. The welcome, the service, the food were all excellent. It was a last minute decission to book ans stay in the Alte Hotel but we were glad we did, OK some of it is a little dated but so are we. Will...

Hotel alte Not 3 star. Basic! arrived for check in at 3pm room not available til 430pm. Terrible service and they could care less so not a good start. General outdated rooms and hotel and needs...
