Location

The core of present-day Baku is the Old Town, or fortress, of Icheri Sheher. Most of the walls, strengthened after the Russian conquest in 1806, remain to this day, as does the 27-metre-high tower of Kyz-Kalasy (Maiden's Tower, 12th century). The Old Town is highly picturesque, with its maze of narrow alleys and ancient buildings. There are numerous restaurants and nightlife within a 10-minute walk. The coast is about a 20-minute walk away.

Facility

The hotel welcomes guests in a 7-storey building with a lift and 74 rooms. The reception desk is open round the clock. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. There are a number of shops as well. Parking facilities available to guests include a garage and a car park. Other services include a car hire service, medical assistance, a transfer service, room service, an alarm call service, a laundry service, a hairdresser and a hotel shuttle bus. A bicycle hire service gives guests the opportunity to explore the surrounding area independently. To assist guests with their business and communication needs, the business centre offers a fax machine.

Rooms

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning, individually adjustable heating and a fan. All rooms are carpeted and include a double bed or a king-size bed.
