Location

This luxury hotel is centrally located on the Schottenring just a few minutes' walk from Stephansplatz, Hofburg imperial palace and the congress centre (approximately 1 km away). Schottentor underground station (line 2) is situated just 200 m from the hotel; it is some 5 km to the motorway and 25 km to the international airport.

Facility

The hotel was built in 1872. 216 rooms, including 20 suites, 36 single rooms and 52 double rooms, are located on 6 storeys and can be reached by lift. Guests are warmly welcomed by multilingual staff at the 24-hour reception desk in the lobby. Check-in/check-out service is available round the clock. Amenities include a baggage storage service and a safe. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. There are a number of shops as well. Additional amenities include a newspaper stand and a library. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage (for a fee) or in the car park.     Good location presumably. Standard austere hotel where nothing is missing, but nothing is remaining in memory. Clean room. Not charming at all thus not understanding why this name still remains...
