Stay at Hotel da Bolsa

3 of us travelled and booked a family room. We arrived too early for check in so they kindly stored our luggage so we could get our bearings in Porto. It appears a very male run hotel which lacks the feminine touches and homely feel. There is no fridge, kettle in the room, very basic but they did supply us with a kettle when asked. The location however is excellent for sightseeing in Porto as it’s fairly central. I think it could easily be made to feel more personal with a bit of colour in the rooms, nice pictures and a few extras.

Good hotel in great location

Good hotel in a great location. Very friendly and helpful staff. Exceptionally clean in all areas. Our room was quite small as was the bathroom but the bed was large and comfortable and the rainfall shower was easy to operate and water was hot. Lovely white fluffy towels. There was a safe in the wardrobe and air conditioning/heating. The window also opened which was nice as it was quite warm one night. We didn't eat breakfast at the hotel but found a small bakery with cafe opposite the hotel which was very reasonable. Would definitely recommend staying at this hotel.

I just came back from my holidays in Porto and I chose this hotel for its combination of position, price and reviews: I was not disappointed at all. Beautiful building, nice room, very comfy position, between the river and the town center. From the upper floors the view is great

Great location and friendly staff!!

The hotel staff was so welcoming and helpful which immediately impressed us. The location was superb and the rooms offered great views of Porto. The breakfast offered fruits and protein. The coffee was not the best but it satisfied. I’d stay here again.
