Hotel Copernicus stands on Kanonicza Street, Krakow’s oldest street that winds its way toward Wawel Royal Castle – the historic seat of Polish kings. well situated for viewing the city. extremely comfortable and rooms a good size, beds comfy and sopas and shampoos from L'occitaine are high quality. staff friendly and helpful. food was delicious and spa treatments were very good indeed. a wonderful place to stay whilst in Krackow

Boutique style hotel in the old town

Received a very nice welcome when checking in to this boutique style hotel and have to say that the service was excellent throughout the 4 day stay from every staff member. The hotel itself is situated in the old town and not far away from the main square or Wawel castle, there are also lots of restaurants and shops nearby. The room (106) was spacious but had only a window to the courtyard. It also felt a bit dark and worn. The bed was otherwise ok but the head board in both ends is not nice for a tall guest. Other negatives were the really loud aircon unit and the fact there was no proper shower in the bathroom, only a bathtub. Coffee machine was provided and also two bottles of water every day. In overall nice amount of amenities. The spa and pool area is quite small but cozy. Ordered a back massage from the spa and the therapist was really professional and made you feel extremely relaxed. There was a long list of different kind of treatments in the spa and can highly recommend those. After staying in many 5 star hotels all over the world, I would not rate Copernicus in the same level but any way it is good place to stay in Krakow and has a kind of charm on it.

Perfect Stay

We have always enjoyed Relias and Chateau hotels. This one was special. We purchased a dinner package and were not disappointed. Our dinner was probably our top food experience of our three week journey. Breakfast each day was equally as good. The staff was very attentive and helpful. Their location is within Krakow's pedestrian zone. When we had an issue finding their parking lot (Probably the one thing they can do better at, they need to improve their directions) a gentleman came out, found us, took us and our luggage to the hotel, and then parked the car. Another example is the bartender who responded to our questions regarding vodka with a interesting explanation of the variety of regional styles and suggested a few excellent alternatives that were all outstanding. I mentioned location. The hotel is very near both the castle attractions as well as the old town with its' market and cathedral. Are room was also spacious. We had a perfect stay.

Old World Charm with Excellent Modern Service

So glad we ended up staying at the charming Copernicus for our first trip to Krakow. The location is ideal: right by the beautiful Wawel Castle with a great walk to the top of the hill. The street is very ancient and beautiful and the key is- it’s quiet! We realized once in Krakow that many hotels would be noisy and in and near the old town square can get very crowded and touristy and noisy. Copernicus is not that. The concierge team helped us so much via email before we arrived. I would highly recommend all of them, very quick to answer and helpful. They organized a private tour guide for us at Auschwitz and a driver to take us there quickly and comfortably. With a packaged lunch. Seamless. And they made several dinner bookings for us. All fun and delicious. We also preferred to eat breakfast out and about and then suggestion of Bistro Charlotte was perfect. Somehow the hotel also managed to let us keep our same castle-view room for all of our nights, when I’d booked it they had said we would have to change for our last night. All to say- excellent service and attention to detail. Thank you team. Bravo.

Beautiful hotel, great location and staff fantastic. Spa was one of the best we have visited in Europe and very well priced. Room was warm spacious and comfortable. Very quiet room also slept very well! Thank you for an amazing break in beautiful Krakow!
