Barcelona & Mallorca

We stayed here for 3 nights as a city break and in general we enjoyed our stay, the location is fairly close to the centre and plenty of taxis/buses just around the corner. The hotel is clean and the rooms are of a good standard you would expect from a 4 star, water and juice topped up in mini bar each day a nice touch. Please note there is no kettle in the rooms which I would expect in such an establishment as the norm so found this disappointing. Good facilities such as indoor heated pool sauna/steam room and towels are included. We found the breakfast fairly average and quite chaotic the lay out is strange which I don’t think helps, this comes on to my biggest disappointment as my wife was refused tomato sauce by a rude lady with pink hair her excuse was it wasn’t part of the Mediterranean breakfast? This is after returning 25 minutes after asking! Even though this was perfectly acceptable the morning before I found this terrible customer service and shocked as they was basically saying why have it but we’re not giving it to you! Really poor customer service. Bar staff were friendly as was the helpful woman on reception and cocktails tasted great.
