  Spent a great week in a one bedroom suite with balcony mountain view - lovely stay, peaceful, beautiful beach, excellent breakfast and restaurant is very good for evenings too (and beach service for lunch). Staff are lovely, facilities generally very good (note pointers below), rooms comfortable and parking which (we were concerned may be insufficient) was fine.Note:- No air con in the suite bedroom (it was in the main room but as we were also using this as a bedroom we had to close the door). This was unexpected, and problematic. They gave us a fan, and we left the curtains closed during the day to stop the room baking, but there should be aircon in the bedroom given the prices and the local temp.- No water offered - other than at breakfast - unless paid for. There are a couple of shops nearby, but really it would be better to have some iced water available, inc at the beach - an easy touch and a shame not to have been provided.- Occasional cruise boat tour stops in the village could have been problematic (the beach is suddenly 'invaded' but this seemed to work out fine. - Travel to Perast / Kotor - as soon as August starts the traffic seizes up the roads (we stayed over the end of July / start of August - the change was noticeable immediately). It can easily take an hour to drive to Kotor (should be less than 15 mins) Buses good but run once per hour and exact times unreliable.- Local restaurants - we ate at all of them - both beach bars, verandah, all nice enough pleasant place to sit, nice service, food ok. Mussel / oyster farms are recommended - lovely lunches (the nearest one, also prob the best, closed on Mondays in summer)

  Quiet - beautiful setting - amazing and personal service . Very nice food - excellent breakfast. Great with own private beach and designated sun chairs . Lovely room - great cleaning, - just what we needed Thanks to everyone fromstaff till cleaning for making the stay the best - and also for remembering our anniversary

  Amazing hotel and staff. We had an excellent holiday made special by all the staff at the hotel. Spotlessly clean. The suite was exceptional. Breakfast delicious as were the evening meals . Views were tremendous. Huge thank you for making our holiday special.

  We had an amazing week long stay at Casa del Mare, Amfora Hotel! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning views and the warm, welcoming atmosphere. The food was delicious - especially the steak tartar (which I had twice!). What really stood out was the service. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. When our rental car got a puncture, the receptionist and manager’s husband were incredibly helpful in helping us to repair it and deal with the rental company. It really made a difference and showed how much they care about their guests.The views, comfy beds, beautiful private beach and friendly local kittens made for an unforgettable experience. We would absolutely stay here again and will be recommending it to all our friends and family. Thank you to all the Casa del Mare Amfora team!

  Fantastic 3 day break

  Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights celebrating a special occasion, I had requested a bottle of bubbly in our room on arrival but the hotel also decorated the room with ballons, which was a lovely surprise. The hotel is 5 miles out of Kotor but in a lovely quiet bay with a bus stop outside, which was ideal for trips into town at €1.50, taxi fare was €15 each way. The hotel was exceptionally clean and staff were very helpful and attentive, nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast, which is a choice of buffet and cooked options is fantastic, always fresh and varied options, one of the best breakfast options I have had.Unfortunately we didn't have time to make use of the spa facilities in the hotel, this has to be booked once at the hotel. The sea view from our room was fabulous especially at night when the bay was lit up. This was an amazing stay at this small boutique hotel and I would definitely recommend and stay here again if visiting Kotor.
