  Cheap and Cheerful

  We stayed here and were a tad worried about all ther terribble review - but its actually complety fine! It was clean and warm, and had eveything you needed. Yes it is basic and a bit dated but we werent expecting anything flash. Tad noisy at times but probably quiter than some of the other hotel in Pas.We had no issues with deposit and getting it back,

  Hidden Costs, Poor Cleanliness and Noise Make for a Disappointing Stay

  This property is marketed as an apartment hotel, but it feels far closer to a hostel. We knew it was only 2*, so we expected basic, but we were still surprised (and annoyed) to be hit with extra charges on arrival: €5 per day for Wi-Fi access (just a password), plus €20 for a compulsory ski locker since ski equipment isn’t allowed in the rooms. These really feel like costs that should be included. You’re also required to pay a €150 deposit on check-in.The room itself was very basic and poorly maintained. The walls are paper thin—you can hear noise from the street and other guests at all hours, and we ended up sleeping with earplugs. Cleanliness was disappointing too: lots of dust, we found a used condom wrapper under one of the beds. Our safe didn’t work and the fire exit next to our room was consistently left open leaving the corridor unsecured and making our room feel vulnerable. Even the hairdryer barely functioned, cutting out every 30 seconds.To make matters worse, the boiler broke on day four and no one bothered to inform guests. Thankfully, our Crystal Ski rep stepped in and moved us to a different hotel for the final two nights.The bar area is uninviting and not somewhere we wanted to spend time.Overall, while the location for skiing is good, this place feels extremely low-end, with hidden costs, noise issues, poor maintenance and questionable cleanliness. If you just want the cheapest option and can tolerate all that, it might scrape by—but we would not stay here again. Bring earplugs and expect extra fees.

  Horrific experience. Worst place to stay in Pas. Horrible & rude staff, apartments are filthy and falling apart. They charge you extra for the WiFi that does not work. WiFi password for those visiting in the future is: MANZANO2020The bar area is filthy. The lockers come with an additional charge for the week & the locker room smells so bad! They will scam you out of your deposit. There is no housekeeping and then blame you for the room being dirty at the end. The reception is suppose to be manned 24/7. This is not the case.On our final night there was a very serious incident in the hotel where a group came in and smashed up the apartment they were in. Other guest noted they were terrified while it was all happening. The guy on reception that night had allowed the group in and was drinking with them and his friends while they smashed the place up. It was absolute chaos. He never called the police, so there is total disregard for guest safety. The apartments are NOT safe!! Doors were kicked in by the group.When we checked out at 4am the receptionist was laughing and showing us videos of the room that was smashed.He told us our room was fine but later on the hotel has deducted our deposit from us. Do yourself a favour and stay somewhere else. Staying here will ruin your experience.

  Horrible hotel/ apartments, careless staff

  Horrible experience, on arrival staff very unhelpful, waiting to check in and they do not acknowledge you whilst waiting. When we finally get the attention of 3 staff standing there we finally get greeted and asked would we like to check in. After a couple of mins taking our details we are then told there would be a charge of €5 a day for wifi when the facilities states WiFi, but not stating you have to pay. Then told of resort taxes is an extra charge to be then told an additional fee of €150 for deposit. Staff gave us our key and just waved us off without direction to our room. Basic room with a plug in heater. Extraction van hanging down. BathroomDoor not closing.No housekeeping when told by our crystal ski rep that sheets and towels will be change mid week which did not happen. When we approached reception we were handed towels and sheets to basically do ourselves. The most nosiest hotel/apartments which staff do not care about. On our last night a group from another room decided it would be fun to slam on every door in the hotel at 1.30am whilst also smashing and trashing their own room. Meanwhile the night porter was at the bar drinking beers with his friends and didn’t want to be disturbed when approached by multiple guests. We left our rubbish in the bin and on top of the bin in our bags as mentioned before no housekeeping provided an bins not emptied, to be then told a fee of €75 will be taken from our deposit. Our 3rd time in Pasa de la casa and will never return to this hotel/apartment.

  Awful stay 2* is over generous!

  On arrival we had to wait almost an hour to get into our room as they said it wasn’t ready. (Bearing in mind we were 1 1/2hrs late due to traffic!) On entering our room we were shocked to find the dire state of it!!! It was unclean mess all over the floor, architrave was off the door frame and the door didn’t close/lock properly, the decor was awful, the tv didn’t work nor did the hairdryer. they did supply me with another that worked for approximately 2 mins if I was lucky! The beds weren’t made up I had to do this myself. No toilet roll was supplied until day 5! Lamp shades were missing and the lights didn’t work properly, also the spot lights in the bigger room didn’t work at all, in fact the whole electrics were worrying so we made sure everything was off when we were out! Decor is extremely dated and tired! We asked the staff not to enter our room as we were so disappointed, yet they still did and didn’t even clean just emptied the bins! The noise from party people coming back from bars clubs is relentless from between 1-3am. We don’t mind a party, but every night being woken up was beyond a joke! Shouting, swearing and singing so loud waking everyone up. This is a 2* hotel and even that is generous! They took 3 payments of £128 off my credit card got deposit Which I did get returned, but no explanation why they took 3 payments when I asked! Staff are non existent and the bar is never open! There is a bucket near reception due to a constant leak coming through 7 floors! If your a young group that doesn’t care and wants cheap and dreadful fine. If not my advise is find somewhere else.
