Pretty good new hotel in Porto centre

Staid here for three nights while visiting Porto. It is a pretty new hotel close to the centre, all walking distance. The service at reception and breakfast was very good, very polite and relatively efficient. Breakfast was very good, plenty of choice and good quality. Lobby looks quite good as well. Rooms are not very big, but are new and clean and nicely furbished. Bathroom is big and very very nice with some lack of shelves. All together, very good, would stay again.

Not a warm welcome on arrival… but great room

Great room as the reviews we read beforehand said…. Comfy beds and so nice to have a balcony.. although it was extremely small. The hotel is definitely a bit of a walk to the more popular parts of Porto but the area around the hotel has its own charm and enough restaurants/ cafes within 5 minutes walk when you are tired after a busy day of sight seeing and don’t want to walk to the main area . The only criticism we have is we were made to feel very unwelcome on arrival from the lady on reception. We were tired and hot from our long journey and she simply said the room wasn’t ready so wait… no offer of water or any indication when we would get the room and no smile or other conversation. There was a jug of water on the side but it was empty so I asked if there was any more but she ignored me. Later on a male receptionist came out so I asked him if we could get water and he said over there… when I pointed out there was none in he immediately got some from the cupboard below to refill the jug. He was much more friendly and said he would keep us informed about the room. We waited 2 hours … got our room about 3.15pm. I know check in was 3 pm but you can’t always guarantee arriving on time … the very least on a hot summer day is a warm welcome and a glass of water. Apart from that we rated the hotel well

Fab stay in Porto

We have just returned from three nights staying at this hotel in Porto. It was a great location to see the city, the staff were friendly and helpful and we had a double room. The breakfasts were good and offered a variety of options the only negative thing I can say is the room was very small and there was little room to put anything apart from that a fabulous stay.

The hotel and staff were all informative and so friendly. We would particularly like to thank Andre and Malfada who assisted us with bus travel to Sintra and the Algarve. The rooms were spotless and the terrace was lovely. Thank you all so much!

Great boutique hotel.

Loved this little hotel.Staff very helpful, friendly and efficient. Rooms well appointed and spotless. We had a large terrace from room 102. Even though building work was going on next door, we never were disturbed by the noise. Good buffet breakfast.
